Stanley J. Lott, 45, died December 10, 1993, at Logan Regional Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born December 2, 1948, in Ogden, Utah, a son of James Vernile and Sadie Godfrey Lott. He married his sweetheart, Jeri Moon, of Malad, Idaho on December 16, 1971, in the Logan Temple.

They were blessed with four beautiful children who were Stan’s pride and joy. They are Michael 21, Matthew 19, Melissa 15 and Christopher 13, all of Clarkston.

Stan graduated from Sky View High School and attended Utah State University, Ricks College and BYU. He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Eastern States Mission.

He worked for Anderson Lumber Company for 8 years, then managed a convenience store ‘the old Double Kwik’ store in Logan, for 10 years. He made a great many friends while he worked there. He has been employed at Morton International since May 1993. He enjoyed his new job and all the people who became his friends there.

Stan was totally devoted to his family and his dear mother who has been mother and father to him for the past 41 years.

Stan was a simple man, it didn’t take a lot to make him happy. The things most precious to him were his family and the church.

Survivors include his wife and children, his mother of Clarkston, and 4 sisters; Annette Jardine, Bountiful, Utah; Stephen and Linda Ravsten, Richardson, Texas; Norman and Karen Thompson, Jay and Sharon Clark, both of Mesa, Arizona; and in-laws, Verlin and Ona Moon of Malad, Idaho.
