Shirley Marie McDaniel was born in Mena, Arkansas on August 6, 1950, to Floyd and Jessie McDaniel. Shirley passed away at home on February 17, 2015. She moved with her family to Oregon in 1961. Shirley resided in Oregon for 45 years and Malad, Idaho for the past 8 years. She married Gary McGrew SR on July 5, 1968. They have 2 children Gary Lee McGrew Jr. And Yvette Kay Hollis. She has 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Shirley has 6 surviving siblings which include, Cecil McDaniel, Charley McDaniel, Carl McDaniel, Betty Tatum, Brenda Carter and Lilly Tatum. She is proceeded in death by 5 siblings which include Wanda Samuel, FM McDaniel, Lonnie McDaniel, Jim McDaniel and Alene McDaniel. Shirley worked at Norpac Foods in Dayton, Or for 20 years and was a homemaker. Shirley loved to shop and never met a stranger. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Preston, Idaho.
