Sheila Price Peabody, 51, of Malad, passed away Sunday, September 27, 1998, in the Oneida County Hospital, following a long battle with cancer.
She was born December 16, 1946, in Malad, a daughter of Glen and Thelma Ward Price. She received her education in the Malad schools and graduated from Malad High School, class of 1965. She married Arthur I. Peabody, January 2, 1965, in Malad; their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, August 18, 1983.
Sheila received her L.P.N, from Idaho State University and was employed with the Oneida County Hospital until 1996, when her health began failing. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 33 years, one daughter, Alice Lynn (Wes) Nieffenegger of Malad; three sons, Troy (Cheryl) Peabody, LaVerkin, Utah; Danny (Sonnet) Peabody, Hurricane, Utah; and Billy (Angie) Peabody, Malad.
Also, surviving are: her father; Glen Price of Malad, two brothers, Monte (Monique) Price, and Keven (JoLynn) Price, Malad; one sister, Karen (Mark) Arnout, Filer, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Ward Price.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 1998, at 12 Noon in the Malad LDS Fifth Ward Chapel, 100 West 20 South, Malad, with Bishop Steven J. Edwards, officiating. Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North, in Malad, Thursday from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
