SAMUEL KENDALL ROBINSON

Samuel K. Robinson dies of heart failure

Samuel Kendall Robinson, age 68, died Thursday, Sept. 8, [1977] of a heart attack enroute to work in the area of the Malad Railroad depot and grain elevators.

He was born May 26, 1909 at Franklin, a son of George and Nellie Herd Robinson.

He married Bernice Dawson June 20, 1928 in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was a former manager of Farmers Grain Cooperative at Downey for 23 years, and lived in Malad 8 years where he was employed by a grain company. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman and member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Vern (Evelyn) Schaal, Shelley; Mrs. Bill (ArLene) Hanna, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Farold Robinson and Hezz Robinson, both Preston; Mrs. J.V. Carlsen, Pocatello; Mrs. Bonnie Gregerson, Boise

Funeral Held Sat.

Funeral service was held Saturday in the Downey Second LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Kenneth Williams officiating.

Burial was in the Franklin Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were by the Benson Funeral Home.
