MALAD – Ruth Evans Otis, 81, of Lucerne Valley, California, and former Malad resident, died Sept. 22, 1994.

She was born Nov. 25, 1912, in Samaria, Idaho, a daughter of William and Mary Jenkins Evans. She was married to the late Robert Otis.

She is survived by three sons, Terry Otis of Lucerne Valley, Calif.; Tim Otis of Adelanto, Calif.; and Robert Otis of Sweet Home, Ore. Graveside services will be Monday at 3 p.m. in the Samaria Cemetery. Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
