RUTH DANIELS HESS

Ruth Daniels Hess, 86, of Malad, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005, in Malad.

She was born April 8, 1919, a daughter of Daniel O. and Annie Price Daniels. She married Lyle Hess on December 22, 1937, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage.

Lyle passed away in 1999.

Ruth and Lyle were blessed with three children: Mont, Ruth Ann and Julie.

She had many church callings throughout the years and loved all of them.

Ruth was a very compassionate and kind person to everyone who knew and loved her. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Mont (Nancy) Hess of Soda Springs; Ruth Ann (Dale) Atkinson of Garland; Julie Christoffersen of Ogden; nine grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; one sister, Trilva Jones of Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Lyle; and one brother, Max Daniels.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday May 18, 2005 at 12 noon in the Malad LDS 4th Ward Chapel, 100 W. 20 S., Burial followed in the Malad City Cemetery.
