HAMBLIN, RUSSELL DEE, April 16, 1941 – November 29, 2008

STONE, IDAHO – Russell Dee Hamblin, 67, passed away November 29, 2008 at Rocky Mtn. Care Center. He was born April 16, 1941 in Kaysville, UT, the son of George Donald and June Alora Moore Hamblin.

Russell married Laura Holston in 1967 in Evanston, WY. She preceded him in death on December 11, 1999.

He served in the Army and was a member of the LDS Church.

Russell enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a gentle, quiet man.

Surviving are his daughters, Christine Garver, Cedar City; Karen (Tom) Jones, Layton; mother, three brothers, three sisters, grandchildren, Michael, Jeffery, Cory, Nathan, and granddaughters, Monica, Tiffany and Nikki Jones.

Preceded in death by his father, wife, one brother, Allen Hamblin and son Mark Hamblin.

Immediate burial will be held December 3, 2008 at the Cannonville, Utah cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary.
