Ruby Jean Bodily

Burley, Idaho – Ruby Jean Bodily, 64, died Saturday, May 29, 1993, at Omaha, Nebraska.

She was born April 27, 1929 at Malad, Idaho the daughter of Joseph and Effie May Call Laws.

She attended school in Malad and graduated from Malad High School.

She married Dale Bodily, December 4, 1948. The marriage was later solemnized Nov. 22 1978 in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Ruby was active in the LDS Church, having served in the Relief Society presidency, Young Women, Primary and Sunday School. She worked as an extractor in the genealogical library in Burley.

She was a member of the P.T.A. and for many years was a registrar of elections.

She is survived by her husband, Dale of Burley; three sons, Brent and (Connie) Bodily, Twin Falls; Kyle and (Dana) Bodily, and Trent Bodily both of Burley; four grandsons and one granddaughter.

Also surviving are four brothers, Doug Laws and Irvin Laws, both of Layton, Utah; John Laws, Bothwell, Utah; Tom Laws, Malad, Idaho; two sisters, Faye Edwards, Fairfield, Calif,; and Marjorie Vaughn, Malad, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joe Laws.

The funeral will be held at 1p.m. Thursday at the Burley 11th Ward LDS Church, 2420 Parke Ave. with Bishop Timothy Preston officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery.

Friends may call at McCulloch Funeral Home in Burley, Idaho. Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the church 12 to 12:45 p.m.
