Ruby Davis Jones
October 10, 1932 – October 8, 2022

Ruby Davis Jones left this world on Saturday, October 8, 2022, just two days short of her 90th birthday. She was a caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.

She was born in Malad, Idaho to Hyrum Leroy Davis and Ruth Castleton Davis on October 10, 1932. She grew up loving the outdoors and spent countless hours hunting, fishing, camping and horseback riding.

Ruby met the love of her life, Stan Jones, and they married in 1951. Together they had 4 children. They spent several years traveling for his work, eventually settling in Pocatello, Idaho. In the 90’s, Ruby became Stan’s loving caretaker for nearly 10 years after his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s.

Throughout her lifetime, Ruby spent her time caring for others and volunteering her time. She spent her final years with her cherished loved ones and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ruth and Leroy Davis; five siblings–Leroy, Dick, Gloria, Cleo and Arthur; her sons Arthur David and William Leroy; and her two husbands, William Stanley Jones and Gerald Rupp.

She is survived by her children Gloria Christine Lott (Don), Stanley Dee Jones (Kathy), 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 1 pm at Horsley’s Funeral Home in Malad, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, Ruby has asked for a donation to be made to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
