Rose H. Kelly Hatch

Rose H. Hatch died May 20, 2011 at her son’s home in Layton, Utah. Rose would have been 88 years old in June. She is now reunited with her husband Abe whom she sacrificed so much to be with.
Rose was born in Western Australia to Hartley and Kathleen McQueen Kelly. During World War ll she met and married her American sailor Abram Hatch in Perth, Australia. She followed him to Thailand, Singapore, and various places in the western United States. She made her homes and yards beautiful with her talents. Rose and Abe worked together in all their endeavors for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Abram and all of his immediate family, her brothers Ernest Kelly, Claude Kelly and Frederick Kelly, a sister Eileen Rear,and most of her friends. She is survived by her son Garry (Vivian) and sister Beryl Landon, grandchildren: Brian (Leslie); Aaron (Stacy); Samantha (Matthew Kelly); Shawn (Kimberlee); Abram (Traci); Renee (Wayne Larson), 19 great grandchildren, and nieces: Colleen, Kay,Leoni. Kay is appreciated for keeping her in touch with her Australian family.
We are grateful that the trials of life are passed for her and the joys of life can now be relived with all she loved who have preceded her in death.
Friends may visit with family Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM or 30 minutes prior to services on Friday. Funeral will held Friday May 27, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Both viewing and funeral will be held at the Oakhills Ward 1410 E Gentile Street, Layton, UT.
