Robert Gene Fitch, 69, of McCammon, passed away November 7, 2009 in Pocatello, Idaho.

Robert was born on June 26, 1940, in Pocatello, Idaho. Robert was the son of Albert (Ab) and Mary Fitch. He was raised in and around Pocatello and Inkom.
Robert always enjoyed anything to do with his family. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, horse racing and golfing. Robert had many friends and cherished these friendships. Robert was a truck driver at heart and owned his own truck. He also worked construction. He was a fun-loving “wild child” and never outgrew it.
Robert is survived by his wife Bobbi of McCammon, a son, Barry of Quartzite, Arizona and daughter, Brooke of Rexburg. Robert is survived by his mother, Mary Fitch of Dell, Montana, sisters Vaunita (LaMont) Lewis of Idaho Falls, Saundra (Jim) Evans of Blackfoot and Lela (Wayne) Webb of Chubbuck. His brothers Larry(Nancy) of Arbon, Allan(Debbie) of Evanston, Wyoming and Lewis (Bernie) of Dell, Montana. Robert is also survived by his grandchildren Brynlee, Braxtyn, Hunter, Sophia and Dylan. Robert is also survived by stepchildren, Brandon and Bryan Fulton, LaRayla Scott, Kim Doig, and Jennifer Stewart. Robert is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at the McCammon LDS Stake Chapel at 12:00 noon, Bishop Ivan Bullock officiating. Friends may visit with the Fitch family at Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N. Meadowview Dr. in Arimo this evening, Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again from 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Robin Cemetery.
