Robert D. “Bob” Van Buskirk * age 67, died Thursday at his home here.

He was born Oct 5, 1908, at Oakland, Calif. to Olin D. and ?ellie Catherine young Van Buskirk. He married Lorraine Hanson Oct 29, 1929 in Brigham City, Utah. She died Jan 6, 1976.

He was a retired employee of * Idaho Division of highways.

He was a veteran of World War II; member of American Legion, Ernest Jones Post, No. 65; and member of the Lutheran Church.

He lived in Boise from 1941 to 1975.

Survivors include a*, Robert D. Van Buskirk Jr., Boise, three grandchild; two brothers, Beverly of Phoenix, Ariz., and Olin of Sante Fe, N. Mex.; and a sister, Ruth Weitzner, Ohio.

Funeral service was held Monday, Aug. 30 at Benson Funeral Home with Reverend S. Norman Naugler officiating. Rev. Naugler conducted the service, and he and Marguerite Boam sang a vocal selection.

Rev. Naugler offered the dedicatory prayer at the graveside service.

United Presbyterian Women were in charge of floral arrangements.

Military rites were conducted by American Legion, Ernest W. Jones Post No. 65.

Casket bearers were David Wharton, Marion Hanson, Milford Caine, Emrys Ezell, Craig Jones and Ren Thomson.
