Bob was reunited with his family in heaven on December 18, 2023.

Born Sept 13, 1937 to Roscoe and Ethel Colton in Malad Idaho. Bob was a spunky boy and loved getting into adventures with his brothers and friends. Bob met the love of his life Barbara while stationed in Washington state with the Navy. They married April 27, 1957. Together they had many adventures, the greatest was having their daughter Robin. They enjoyed many camping trips with friends, family, and classmates. Bob was known for his humor, his love of guns and the outdoors.

Bob loved the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a wealth of knowledge and strong testimony of his Savior. Bob was blessed with 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Barbara, daughter Robin (Chuck), granddaughter Tiffany, grandson CJ (Mandy), granddaughter Samantha, 4 great-grandchildren Kolten, Joanie, Charlie, and Rosco. Foster daughters, Saysamone, Amphone and Bangone Viphongsay and many nieces, nephews, and amazing friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe and Ethel Colton, and brothers Gene Colton and Larry Colton.

Funeral services will be held December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful LDS Chapel at 3317 S. 800 W. with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A viewing will be held Friday night at a different location, 55 E. 350 N. North Salt Lake from 7-8 p.m. Following the service and luncheon, there will be a graveside service at the Malad City Cemetery in Malad, Idaho at 3:15 p.m.
