Richard Reese

OGDEN – Richard “Dick” Reese, 61, died Thursday, January 29, 1998, at the Ogden Regional Hospital. He was born in Malad, Idaho, October 21, 1936. He was the son of Stanley Richard and Delone Waldron Reese.
Later the family moved to Logan, where he attended school. After graduation, he worked at Thiokol and the Defense Depot in Ogden. Later he worked at the Timbermine in Ogden where he met many dear friends who looked after his many needs when he became ill.
He is survived by his mother, Delone, of Logan; a sister, Suzanne (Dave) Jenkins of North Logan; a brother, Robert (Haruko) Reese of Austin, Texas; two step-daughters, Tonja Johnson of North Ogden and Carla Haskay of Salt Lake City. Also surviving are many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Roger.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 1998, in the Logan City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cranny Mortuary.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and nuns at the Ogden Regional Hospital, the Creek Home Care nurses, Dean and Karen Hill and all of their employees at the Timber-mine, and Dick’s many good friends and neighbors for all the love, care, and support rendered during his long illness.
