Richard Henry VanBebber, 78, passed away October 12, 1995, at the Oneida County Nursing Home in Malad City, Idaho, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born January 19, 1917 in Lockwood, Missouri to Richard and Eva Maher Van Bebber. He attended schools there and graduated with the Class of 1934.

Henry married Viola Winslow of Milford, Iowa, on February 16, 1934.

Early in life he became a member of the Baptist Church and remained a faithful believer and a member of the Fist Baptist Church of Golden City, Missouri. He was a member of the masonic lodge in greenfield, Missouri. Henry had been employed as an administrator of Boy’s Home’s in California and Missouri. He devoted his life to caring for the needs of others, both young and old.

Due to his failing health he recently moved to Malad City to be near his children.

He is survived by his wife of Malad City; a daughter, Janet (Earl) Robb and family of Twain Harte, California; a son, Rick (Deb) and family of Malad City; Adrain and family of Denver, Colorado; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous foster children, and many other relatives and dear friends.

Henry was preceded in death by a daughter, his parents, a great-grandson, his sisters and a brother.

He has requested that his body be given to Medical research Foundation hoping that in some way it may help others.
