Rebecca Louise Putnam-Rich

Rebecca Louise Putnam-Rich, 64, of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Becky was born on April 19, 1949, in Pocatello, Idaho, a daughter of Deloris Pugmire and John Murray. She was raised in Pocatello, Idaho and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School. She married Cliff Murphy in Pocatello, Idaho and had three sons: Marty; Nevin; and David. Later, she met and married Jim Putnam and lived in South Pocatello. They enjoyed spending time training and racing horses. Becky later married Bill D Rich and made a home on a small ranch in Clifton, Idaho. Bill passed away and after several years Becky moved to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho and opened the Lil’ Brown Jug in McCammon, ID. Becky had a deep love of the outdoors and enjoyed spending time racing horses, riding ATVs, hunting, winning at horseshoes, and spending time with friends and family. She was incredibly talented and believed in working hard and playing harder. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother and father, sister and two brothers; two sons; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at 11:00 am in Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N Meadowview Dr., in Arimo. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday prior to services from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
