FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD FRIDAY

Funeral services for Ralph Thorpe, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Thorpe, were held on Friday in the Malad First Ward tabernacle with Bishop Junius Crowther presiding. Speakers were Wm. H. Rutter, J.M. Isaacson, President Thomas W. Richards, and Bishop Crowther.

Musical numbers included a vocal solo, Stillman Harris, vocal solo, Mrs. Margaret E. Jones, both numbers being accompanied by Mrs. Lee Ossmen on the violin and Mrs. Ruth Davis at the piano. A vocal trio was given by the three Corbridge sisters, accompanied by their brother Eldon.

Invocation was by H.E. Thomas and benediction by Hugh Griffith. Interment was in the Malad cemetery with H.I. Mills dedicating the grave.

Ralph died on July 3, 1940 in the LDS Hospital of heart trouble. He is survived by his parents and two brothers, Blair and Therman and one sister, Neva.

Out of town people who came for the services included: Mrs. Douglas Bateman of Salt Lake City; Mrs. J.C. Hartley of Ogden; Mrs. Eurella Christensen of Tremonton; Mrs. Joe Facer of Pocatello and Mrs. Ronald King of Buist.
