On February 3, 2002, Ralph L. Allen passed away in his sleep. He was born June 8, 1919 in Portage, UT to Joseph and Elizabeth Allen.

He was married to Johanna Marie Meenderink on October 30, 1941 in the Salt lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death. He then married Merle Vaughan.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

He is survived by his wife Merle, his son Ralph and wife Jolene Call, and three grandsons Brian, Joseph and Justin, daughter Carol and husband, John Koegler, and granddaughter Ramona, and one stepson William Vaughan. He is also survived by K. Leon Allen, Edna Tippetts and Faye Bingham, and many nieces and nephews.

Thank you Merle for the care and love you gave to our dad. We would also like to give thanks to Dr. Jeffery Call and his office staff.

Funeral services will be held February 8 at Leavitt’s Mortuary, Ogden. Interment, Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
