Ralph Bowen Price

PRICE, RALPH BOWEN, September 3, 1923 – June 2, 2004

OGDEN – Ralph Bowen Price, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2004. He was born September 3, 1923 in Malad, Idaho, son of Thomas D. and Blodwen Davis Price.

On December 26, 1944 he married LaVon Rogers in Malad. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He attended schools in the Malad Valley and graduated from Malad LDS Seminary. He also attended Weiser Trade/Tech School in Weiser, ID.

He was a farmer and rancher and an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

He served in the Armed Forces as an infantryman in the 45th division in Europe during World War II and he is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He moved to Ogden in 1946 and was employed for Air Force Printing at DDO as a lithographer. He retired in 1971.

He was an active member of the LDS Church and was a High Priest in the Ogden 42nd Ward.

He is survived by his wife; one son and two daughters, R. Boyd Price, Roy, UT; Sheryl L. (Bill) Doman/Lowe, Phoenix, AZ; Luann Nielson, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, T. Glen Price, Malad, ID; Mrs. Gwen Dezember, South Weber, UT; and J. (Helen) Harris, Twin Falls, ID.

Funeral services will be held June 7, 2004 at Myers Mortuary, Ogden. Interment, Malad City Cemetery.
