MRS. T.M. THOMAS DIED MONDAY

Funeral services will be held Friday at the Stake Tabernacle for Mrs. Rachel Rees Thomas who died April 1, 1946 at Los Angeles, California, where she has been with her daughter, Mrs. Pearl Parry.

Rachel Mae Thomas was born May 1, 1866 at Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of John Dee and Mary Rees. She was married to Thomas M. Thomas in the Endowment House at Salt Lake City, Utah, January 3, 1884.

Her body was received at Ogden Wednesday night and brought to Malad.

Mrs. Thomas was very well known in this valley. For many years she and her husband and family owned and operated the store known as the T.M. Thomas and Sons store in Malad.

Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Parry of Los Angeles, CA, and one son, Seth Thomas, Ogden, 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

MRS. T.M. THOMAS FUNERAL FRIDAY

Funeral services were held Friday at the Stake Tabernacle for Mrs. T.M. Thomas, with Bishop Jess Hughes of the Third Ward presiding. The prelude and postlude were played by Wesley Crowther. Prayer at the home was offered by Dan Reese of Logan. The invocation and benediction were offered by J. Peter Jensen and W. Henry Thomas of Ogden. The speakers were Thos. D. Evans, Ruby Ruegsegger and Bishop Hughes. Lawrence Budge dedicated the grave.

Among those from out of town in attendance were: Mrs. Pearl parry, son T.D. and daughter, Martha Mae parry, Los Angeles; Seth Thomas, Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Lew Reese, Eva Yearsley, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reese, Brigham.
