GODDARD, PEARL D.

July 5, 1908 – October 26, 1953

Mrs. Pearl Dalton Goddard, 45, wife of John Godard, died in the Oneida County Hospital on October 26, 1953 following an extended illness.

Mrs. Goddard was born in Malad in 1908, the daughter of George Dalton and the late Sara Jane Dalton. She lived in Malad most of her life and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On September 14, 1928 she was married to John Goddard.

She is survived by her husband, Malad; two sons, Mart and Joe Goddard; two grandchildren; her father, George Dalton and a brother, Joe Dalton, Pocatello.

Mrs. Pearl Dalton Goddard, 45, of Malad, died Monday at Oneida Hospital. Born July 5, 1908 in Malad, daughter of George A. and Sarah Jane McKay Dalton. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married to John Goddard September 14, 1920 in Malad.

Surviving: husband; two sons; Martin D. Goddard, Salt Lake City; George J. Goddard, Pocatello; her father, Pocatello; two grandchildren and a brother.

Funeral Thursday in Malad Ward chapel. Burial in Malad cemetery . Benson Funeral Home in charge.
