Otis Park Campbell

Otis Park Campbell (Birth – Dec. 8th, 1915)

Otis Park Campbell, 66, died Friday (Oct. 9th, 1982) in Bingham County Nursing Home in Blackfoot.

He was born Dec. 8, 1915, at Weston, to Frederick and Millie Kerr Gunnell Campbell. During his childhood the family lived on their homestead on Weston Creek in Oneida County. Each winter they moved to Malad where he attended school. In 1939 he moved with his family to Grace. He helped his father on the farm there and was later employed as a worker on other farms in the area. He also hearded (herded) sheep for many years.

He was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed camping in the mountains and liked to hunt and fish.

Survivors include a brother, Norman Campbell, Murray, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Elsie) Daniels, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mrs. Flyde (Mae) Patterson, La Jolla, Calif.

Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad, with Bishop Howard May officiating. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
