TREASURE, ORLEAN D. – May 30, 1911 – November 2, 2003

DOWNEY – Our mom and good friend to all returned home to her heavenly Father on November 2, 2003.

She was born May 30, 1911 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of George Daniels, Sr. and Mary Mae Bolingbroke.

She married George Treasure march 12, 1931. They lived on the Marsh Valley ranch for 42 years then they moved to Downey in 1973.

George passed away April 27, 1974. Orlean later moved into a smaller home.

She thoroughly enjoyed planting a garden and watching it grow. She also loved to make quilts. Many baby quilts, doll quilts and pillow cases were made and given way.

She dearly loved her family, friends and good neighbors that all did so much for her. Orlean was a member of the LDS Church, where she served in many positions.

She is survived by four children, Dee and (Beth) Treasure, Roy, Utah, Dixie and (Bill) Ward, Blackfoot, Idaho, Jeanine and (Buzz) Hastreter, Meridian, Idaho, Danny and (Chris) Treasure, Idaho Falls, Idaho; one brother, Lorin Daniels, St. George, Utah; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, two brothers and one grandson, Marty Treasure.

Funeral services will be at noon Thursday, November 6 at Downey Second Ward. Friends may visit Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 and 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., prior to the funeral at the Downey Second Ward Thursday. Burial will be at the Downey Cemetery.
