FUNERAL SATURDAY FOR OMER MORGAN PARRY
Memorial services for Omer Morgan Parry, 41, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Parry of Salt lake City and formerly of Malad[Born 11/27 Mar. 1915], who died Thursday, August 2,[1956] in Salt Lake City, were held Saturday morning at the Larkin Mortuary with Bishop Wm. T. Woolf officiating.
Werner Rosssberg[sic] played the prelude and postlude music and rendered an organ selection; Pres. June B. Sharp, invocation; Pres. George B. Glade, benediction; Bishop Poelman[sic], vocal solo; Japanese missionaries, chorus. Mayor LeGrande Horsley of Brigham City was the speaker.
At the Malad Cemetery where interment took place, June and Gwen Ward sang a duet; Pres. Thos. W. Richards spoke and Thos. D. Evans offered the dedicatory prayer.
Those from Malad attending the services at Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Thos. D. Evans, Wayne Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Ipsen Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Ipsen Jr., Parry Ipsen, Mrs. George Jones, Mrs. Owen Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Parry Ward.
Coming to Malad for the graveside services were Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Parry, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Parry and family, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Parry and family, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Kirkpatrick, Salt Lake City; Grant Parry and daughters, Clearfield; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Garner, Rexburg; Mr. and Mrs. Dan J. Thomas, Mrs. Ralph Roberts and two children, Pocatello; Mrs. Hazel Pretchett[sic] and two girls, American Falls.
