Minnie Isabell “Bell” Hoskins Pierson Estep

Minnie Isabell “Bell” Hoskins Pierson Estep, 86, died June 22, 1997 at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton. She was born November 23, 1911 in portage, the daughter of Lorenzo Ezra and Clara Susannah Kemp Hoskins. She married James Afton Pierson, November 7, 1936 in Brigham City. He died September 18, 1970. She married James Berry Estep, August 14, 1972 in Elko, Nevada. He died May 9 1987.
Minnie was reared and educated in Portage and graduated from Bear River High School. She had lived in Malad, Idaho; Ogden, Salt Lake City and moved to Plymouth in 1936. She had worked for Utah Poultry in Malad; Gepharts in Tremonton for 10 years, U & I Sugar Company in Garland and was a waitress for many years.
She was a member of the LDS Belmont 1st Ward where she had served in the past a member of the YWMIA Presidency and teacher; Relief Society teacher, visiting teacher, and work director; Primary and Sunday School teacher.
Surviving is one brother, Ezra Hoskins, Malad, ID.
Also surviving are step-=sons and daughters, Odean Estep, Lowell Estep, Bonnie Stevens, Marilyn Secrist and her nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her brothers and a step-son, Douglas Este.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 27, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Portage Cemetery, with Bishop Garth Josephson officiating. Friends may call Friday only from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton
