Max and Adele were married 12 April 1939 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
It was a happy day when Max came into my life. Max has been a kind and loving husband. I have never met a more gentle, loving individual in all my life. He’s slow to anger and gives everyone the benefit of a doubt. Max is the person that helped me be active in the Church and gave me a desire to learn more of the Gospel.
I have never seen his family quarrel or argue. They may disagree and stick to their own opinion but will never raise their voices to one another. Such a good quality. Every individual has a temper but some know how to control those feelings better than others. Max was not only good to me and his son Max Elliott, but to my mother and father. He welcomed anyone into our home that wanted to come. He would loan them our car and go the extra mile for me if it was helping someone. He mended and fixed and let me go every time my parents called. He was a loving son to his parents and to his mother-in-law. I don’t know what my mom would have done without him. In later years, he has been a kind and loving grandfather. He does love his grandchildren!
Max goes about life in a quiet way and of all the people in the world, Max is one person that does live his religion.
I’m grateful for him and hope we can be together forever. When he was a senior in college, the school voted him Prince of the campus. He is just that! A real Prince of a man. I love him very much.
