Mary Sugaya Hirase
Mary Sugaya Hirase left this world 83 years to the day after she entered it. She was born on March 31 , 1931 in Lemon Grove, California to Ycrne Hayashi Sugaya and Ryotaro Sugaya , and passed away on March 31 . 20 14 in Malad, Idaho.
She married her life partner, Joe Hirase, on March 24, 1962. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2010. They lived in Midvale, Utah until 2009 when they moved to Malad, Idaho, to the beautiful log home that their son-in-law built for them.
Maiy will always be remembered for her sweet spirit, her dedication to family, and her love for others.
Mary is survived her daughter Joanne Hirase Stacey and her husband William Stacey, her grand-dogs Maggie, Isamu, Zebekiah , and Bella, her sisters Setsuko Yoshisato, Chie Sugaya, and Ryo Hiashiguchi. her brother Hikeshi Sugaya. and numerous nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her husband; loving parents; her brothers: Shigeru Sugaya and Shioji Sugaya; and her sister, Yoshie Kariya.
