Funeral services for Mrs. Dan Campbell (Mary ‘Mel’ Evans) were held Saturday, March 2, 1946 at 2 p.m. at the Malad second ward with Bishop W. W. Thomas presiding. Mrs. Marteal Hendricks played the prelude and postlude. The prayer at the home was offered by Hugh Griffiths. The invocation was given by E. E. Richards and the benediction, John C. Neilsen. The speakers were Dr. O. H. Mabey, and W. W. Thomas. The musical numbers were rendered by Keith Evans, Margaret E. Jones and Jenkin Palmer. Guy Benson dedicated the grave.

Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Champion, Los Angeles; B. T. Price, Lyle Price, Twin Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allen, Brigham; Mary Lou and Jean Jones, Lava and Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Geare of Pocatello.
