Mary Jane Waldron, (1932)

Mary Jane Waldron
May 13, 1932 – January 19, 2023

Mary Jane Waldron was born in Malad, Idaho on May 13, 1932 to Neville Frank Vanover and Fern Jones Vanover. She is the last survivor of their 5 children. Mary Jane passed away on January 19, 2023, just 4 ½ months after her dear husband, Thayne Waldron, passed. They were married on October 25, 1950 in the LDS Logan Temple. Mary Janes’s family moved to California where her father worked in the mines until they returned to Malad. Mary Jane and Thayne were born in the same house in Malad, met in High School and were meant to be together for eternity. She was a caring and wonderful mother who loved her family. She went back to school later in life to get her degree and worked in social work and probation for a time. She is survived by her five children, Sondra Anderson, Susan Waldron Smith, Thayne James Waldron, Brad Waldron and Ann Marie Bowen, as well as 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. When she was 46, she and Thayne had their youngest child, Ann who has been a blessing to them and our family ever since. Ann kept them young and always active. All of Mary Jane’s children are grateful for her guidance, her sense of humor and her kindness to others. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to The Seville of Orem, Utah, Spring Gardens of Lindon, Utah and the compassionate and amazing staff of A Plus Healthcare at Home for making Mary Jane feel so special, loved and cared for.
