MARY J.M. JONES

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Morse Jones will be held Thursday at 1 o’clock at the Pleasantview ward.

Mrs. Jones died Monday at 8:15 a.m. at a Salt Lake hospital of causes incident to age. Born Jan. 26, 1860 in South Wales, daughter of William and Margaret Evans Morse. She was married to Jeremiah Jones on Jan. 10, 1878 in the old Salt Lake City Endowment House.

Mrs. Jones lived in Logan, then Samaria and in 1885 moved to Pleasant View.

Surviving are three sons and five daughters: Jerry M. Jones and Mrs. T. A. Thompson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Parley Olsen, Provo; E. M. Jones, Hunter; Mrs. J. R. Rich, Boise; Mrs. Leah Ephriam, Beverly Hills, Calif.; Mary Jones, Los Angeles; Reuben M. Jones, Magna; 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and two sisters.
