Funeral Friday For Mrs. George Parry

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Jones Parry, 54, who died at the family home in Malad Tuesday [Nov. 13, 1951] after a long illness, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Malad LDS Stake tabernacle with Bishop Jess Hughes of the Malad Third ward in charge.

Mrs. Parry was born December 5, 1896 in Malad, a daughter of Daniel T. and Mary Jane Thomas Jones. She lived here her entire life and received her education in the Malad schools. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and before her illness was active in the auxiliary church organizations as a teacher. She was married to George K. Parry in Malad, August 4, 1915, and their marriage was solemnized November 11, 1920 in the Salt Lake City L.D.S. Temple.

She is survived by her husband, five daughters and a son: Mrs. Earl J. Thomas, Lindsay, California; Mrs. Keith Moss, Fielding, Utah; Thomas Parry, Malad; Mrs. Dan Kent, Ogden, Utah; Miss Norine[sic] Parry, Malad; her mother, Mrs. Daniel T. Jones, Malad; twelve brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ruth Dives, Mrs. Eleanor Williams, F. E. (Bud) Jones, Steven L. Jones, Mrs. Fern Vanover[sic], all of Malad; Lester T. Jones, Dillon, Montana; Max L. Jones, Gardnerville, Nevada; Otto Jones, Pioche[sic], Nevada; Lenn[sic] T. Jones, Reno, Nevada; Mrs. Pearl Jones, Preston, Idaho; Mrs. Lilly Jones, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Leda Ipsen[sic], Calpella[sic], California and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at the family home, 279 West 400 North, Thursday evening and Friday until funeral time. Burial will be in the Malad City cemetery, directed by the Malad Funeral Service.
