Mrs. Wilford Parry Dies Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary H. [Hughes] Parry, 49, who died Wednesday [January 24, 1951] at the family home in Malad will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the L.D.S. Third Ward Chapel.

Mrs. Parry was born September 29, 1901 at Malad, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Jones Hughes. She was married to Wilford E. Parry December 23, 1925 at Brigham City, Utah. Mrs. Parry had been employed by the Malad branch of the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Co. for 13 years as a switchboard operator. She was a member of the L.D.S. church.

Surviving are her husband, the following sons and daughters: Dean Parry, Ephraim, Utah; Gary, Boyd and Jean Parry, all of Malad; Mrs. Donna Austin, Preston, Idaho; her mother, Mrs. James Hughes, a sister, Mrs. Dale Vaughan, Malad; three brothers, Dan and William Hughes, Malad, and James Hughes,[end of article]
