FLINT, MARILDA KNUDSEN, September 4, 1903 – March 16, 1984

Marilda Knudsen Flint, 80, died March 16, 1984 in a hospital in Fillmore, UT. Mrs. Flint lived in Clearfield, Utah. She was born September 4, 1903 to Hans N. and Margaret Marinda Wells Knudsen in Deweyvillle, UT. On June 19, 1929 she married Ferne Barton Flint in Ogden, UT. He died August 18, 1955.

Mrs. Flint had taught school in Davis County and retired. She had been raised in Portage and lived in Clearfield for the past 38 years. She went to Bear River high School and also graduated from Utah State University.

She was a member of the LDS Church in the Clearfield 1st Ward and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, the Clearfield Garden Club and active in the Senior Citizens.

Surviving are two sons, Ellis Var C. Flint, Portage, and Boyce B. Flint, Fillmore; 12 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held march 21 in the Clearfield 1st Ward Chapel. Additional services were held in the Portage Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Portage cemetery.
