MARIE ERICKSEN RANDS

Marie E. Rands

ROY – Marie Ericksen Rands, 80, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 1989, at her home.

She was born Jan. 3, 1909, in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Peter J. and Margaret M. Hughes Ericksen.

She married Oswin P. Rands on Oct. 23, 1942, in Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1957.

She had lived in Malad, Idaho, later moving to Ogden where she was reared and educated. She had lived in Roy the past six years.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

Mrs. Rands had been employed by the Union Pacific Railroad.

Surviving are two sisters, Alta E. Jensen and Sarah E. Barkdull[sic], both of Roy.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at noon at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park.
