MARIE BYBEE WINCHESTER

SOUTH OGDEN – Marie Bybee Winchester, 74, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2005, at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born May 1, 1931, in Downey, Idaho, to Glen Fredrick and Ila Rozella Rasmussen Bybee, where she was reared and educated.

On June 2, 1950, Marie married Keith Duane Winchester, in Lewisville, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on June 1, 1951.

She lived in Idaho Falls and Lewisville, Idaho before moving to Harrisville, Utah, where she lived for 38 years before moving to South Ogden.

Marie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served as a Mutual teacher and chorister. She was also a member of the Modratones singing group for many years.

She enjoyed shopping, singing and decorating. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Despite a lifetime of ill health, she always took time to make others feel loved an appreciated. She was truly a friend to all.

Marie is survived by her husband, Duane, South Ogden; three sons, Brad Duane Winchester, Alexandria, VA; Kelly Lane (Janine) Winchester, Loveland CO; Paul Dean (Sandra) Winchester, Star, ID; and a daughter Luann (Kendell) Kennington, Salt Lake City, UT; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis Bybee, Albuquerque, NM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27th at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley 4th Ward Chapel, 5640 South 850 East, South Ogden.

The family will meet friends at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
