MARGARET “MAGGIE” EVANS REYNOLDS

Ogden, Utah – Margaret “Maggie” Evans Reynolds, 90, of 970 E. 4050 S., died Wednesday, December 2, 1987, at a local nursing home of causes incident to age.

She was born April 7, 1897 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Thomas J. and Charlotte Adams Evans.

She married Hyrum E. Reynolds on December 24, 1917 in Malad, Idaho. He died March 3, 1951.

She had been employed for 20 years at the American Linen Company.

Surviving are one son and one daughter, Norman E. Reynolds, Daly City, California, Mrs. Walter (Shirley) Peterson, North Hollywood, California; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Ray (Fern) Hogge, Ogden.

She spent many of her later years in Malad with her sister, Charlotte Hansen.

She was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and one sister.

Services were held Saturday at Lindquist & Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden, with Grant Hansen officiating.

Interment was in the North Ogden Cemetery.
