GEICK, MAE FALLIS, November 11, 1906 – September 25, 1975

Mrs. Mae Geick, 68, died after an extended illness. She had been living at the Care Center in Rock Rapids, IA and died enroute to the hospital.

Services were held at Jongewaard-Stapp chapel with interment at Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Geick was the daughter of William and Sarah Stuart Fallis and was born November 11, 1906 in Idaho.

She was married to Melvin H. Geick in November, 1925 and they moved to Rock Rapids 43 years ago, where she has since lived.

Surviving are six sons: Donald and Thomas of las Vegas, NV; Gordon and William of Sioux Falls; Melvin of Omaha; and Leslie of Alameda, CA. There are four daughters: Cora, Mrs. james Schulte, and Doris, Mrs. larry Schubert, Rock Rapids; Sally, Mrs. Harold Julius, George and Cheri, Mrs. James Egan, Sioux Falls. There are three brothers, William Fallis of Blackfoot, ID; Asa Fallis, Plainsville, NJ. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Norman (Myme) Peterson, Ogden, UT.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, one sister, one daughter and three grandchildren.
