MABEL MARIAN McCULLOUGH ENGEN; Age 85 years 6 months returned to GOD so he could reunite Mother with Gerald (Bob) Bothen Engen, the love of her life and the Best Step Father that GOD could find. Mother was born in Manville, Wyoming to Thomas Patrick McCullough and Hazel Albertha Sides McCullough. Mom grew up with three wonderful siblings; Ruby McCullough Christian, Joseph (Joe) McCullough and Naomi (Onie)McCullough Ogle. Mom graduated highest in her class and received an academic lifetime scholarship to the University of Wyoming. Mom went 2 years to U of W then took a 27 year Hiatus to Texas to have three successful children, be a Sears & Roebuck employee, be a bank teller, obtain a retirement from a major U.S. Paper Mill then return to the University of Wyoming, finish obtaining her Bachelors Degree, teaching elementary students in Laramie and finally, retiring after 20 years of working for the University of Wyoming in the Controllers Office and all the while being the BEST MOTHER A CHILD COULD EVER BE BLESSED WITH! With the GREATEST KINDNESS, Mother loved children, people, animals and God. The maternal instinct was the most prevalent of all with Mother until passing PEACEFULLY on April 29, 2014 at 6:31pm in Pocatello, Idaho. MABEL MARIAN McCULLOUGH ENGEN is survived by two of those wonderful Blessed siblings; Joseph F. McCullough of Lusk, Wyoming and Naomi McCullough Ogle of Cathedral City, California and those three successful Blessed children; Charles A. Whitmire, Jr. of Pocatello, Idaho, Mark S. Whitmire of Buna, Texas and Susan M.(Whitmire) Schaber of Alder Flats, Alberta, Canada. There are many, many grand children, great grand children, cousins, relatives, all of whom  we could not list and for that I am truly sorry because we love you all! However, our Family will always owe the deepest Gratitude to my wife, Patricia Whitmire for the diligent care of our Mother. MAY GOD BLESS ALL. IN JESUS NAME WE PRAY, AMEN.

Graveside services will be held in Laramie, Wyoming on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Green Hill Cemetery.  Friends and Family will meet from 11:30a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church.
