Lyle N. Almond, 33, dies in Salt Lake City Hospital

Lyle N. Almond, age 33, Layton, Utah, died Oct 24 1968, following open heart surgery in a Salt Lake City hospital.
Funeral services were held at Layton and burial was in the Downey, Idaho cemetery.

Mr. Almond was born at Downey, April 12, 1935, a son of Burton M. and Lottie Norby Almond.
He married Karen Hartley in the Logan LDS Temple on Nov. 15, 1957. A graduate of Downey High School and LDS Business College, he was a salesman for an automobile agency. He was active in the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow and daughters, Michelle and Lisa Julie Ann, Layton; parents, Downey; grandmother, Mrs. Ada Almond, Preston; five brothers and sisters.
