Hannah Lucille Buehler Christoffersen, 90, of Malad, passed away on Monday, October 18, 1999, in Logan, Utah, where she had been living the past two years.

She was born November 24, 1908 in Logan. She was the daughter of Henry L. and Mary Ann Maughan Buehler.

Lucille married Melvin Oscar Christoffersen in 1926 in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple, and he preceded her in death on April 24, 1948.

She was a devoted mother to her three children, LaVar, Elaine and Kathy. Lucille loved work – the harder, the better. She enjoyed spending time in her yard and growing beautiful flowers. She was a phenomenal cook, and her homemade meals were enjoyed by many.

Lucille was an active member of the American Legion War Mothers, Daniels Birthday Club and Square Dance Club. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in various callings.

Lucille loved to play games with her 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Elaine (Russ) Rogers, Pocatello, Idaho, and Kathy (Sherm) Kirk, Logan, Utah; one brother, Vernon M. Buehler, Logan; three sisters: Mae Fridal, Tremonton, Utah; Geneva (Vaughn) Larson, Preston, Idaho; Carma (Doan) Sanders, Kaysville, Utah; also a daughter-in-law, Clea Mae (Warren) Brown, St. George, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, LaVar Christoffersen, one Brother, Lamar Buehler, and two sisters, Ines Bergeson and Zella Jenson.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 23, 1999 at the Saturday, October 23, 1999 at the Malad LDS Stake Chapel. Burial was in the Logan City Cemetery.
