WEST WEBER _ Our beloved mother and grandmother, Loretta Faye Anderson Herrick, 83 was happily reunited with her eternal companion, Saturday, April 24, 1020 at home.
She was born August 24, 1926 in Daniels, Idaho, a daughter of John Evan and Lydia Loretta Clark Anderson. She was raised and educated in Millville and Ogden, Utah.
On January 25, 1950, Faye married Orson Wright Herrick in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized January 25, 1965 in the Logan LDS Temple. Orson preceded her in death on February 5, 2007.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as the Primary Secretary and a Visiting Teacher.
Faye loved family get togethers, horseracing, gardening, club/bunco, friends, crafts and reading. She took pride in cooking for her family and working side by side with her husband on the family farm.
Surviving are one son and three daughters, Rodney J. (Suzanne) Herrick; Kristy H. (Dennis) Morgan and Gay (Wes) Grose, all of West Weber. Jodie H. (Dallas) Buttars, Layton; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother and four sisters; Don Anderson, Melba Markland, Margene Everett, Iva Lou James and Jeanette Clawson.
Preceding Faye in death were her parents and her beloved husband, Orson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the West Weber 1st Ward Chapel, 4100 West 900 South.
Friends may visit with the family at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the Ward Chapel from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment West Weber Cemetery.
