Lois Vera Albiston Williams, 2 October 1910

ARIMO – Our mother, sister, friend, Lois Vera Albiston Williams, 85, was called back to her Heavenly Father march 26, 1996. She is now in a glorious reunion with her husband, two sons, parents, sisters and brothers, who paved the way before her.

Lois was born October 2, 1910, the fourth of 12 children, to John Lorenzo and Sarah Ellen Littlefield Albiston. She was born in St. Anthony, ID. In May, 1911, the family moved to Hawkins Basin, ID, where she spent her childhood.

She married Eugene Grant Williams on April 27, 1917 at Pocatello, ID. He died Sept. 22, 1982. To this union were born four children, Clyde Eugene, Laura Elaine, Calvin Grant and Lois Corin.

She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she was in the Relief Society presidencies, and also was a visiting teacher. She worked for the school lunch program at McCammon and Arimo for 35 years.

Her home was filled with the beautiful quilts and art crafts she had made. There was always the aroma of fresh-baked goods.

During her lifetime she lived in St. Anthony, Hawkins, McCammon, Arimo, Pie Town, New Mexico and finally at Malad, ID.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, two sons, one grandson, parents, three brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Laura E. Smith of Pocatello and Corin W. (Donald) Meyer of Malad; two sisters, LaVon (Carol) Boyer of Arimo, and Elda Green of McCammon; one brother, Ralph L. Albiston (Lenna) of Salt Lake City, UT; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Funeral services will be held March 30, 1996 in the Marsh Valley Funeral Home, Arimo. Burial will be in the Robin Cemetery.
