Lizzy Lorraine Decker Neal, 72, Stone, died in the Logan Regional Hospital Tuesday.
She was born April 10, 1910 in St. Anthony to Frank Zecharias and Martha Louise Hunter Decker.
She married Merle Leon Neal, Oct. 3, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. She lived in Stone all of her married life. She graduated from the Southern Branch of Idaho State University at Pocatello with a teachers certificate.
She was a member of the Curlew LDS Ward. She served in the past as a ward organist, chorister and member of the Bear River stake primary board, ward primary presidency, relief society teacher and relief society visiting teacher.
Survivors include her husband, Stone, two sons; C. Lee Neal, Yakima, Wash.; and Paul M. Neal, Lehi, Utah; five daughters: Mrs. Lyle B. (Merlene) Herd, Caliente, Nev.; Mrs. Milton (Jan) Gleneys Browning, Woods Cross, Utah, Mrs. DeVon (Donna) Nish, Mrs. Ronal (Rada) Cheney, and Julie Ann Neal, all of Salt Lake City; 35 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Morris Decker, Pocatello.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at the Curlew LDS ward chapel with Bishop Steve Morgan officiating. Friends may call at Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton Thursday 7-9 p.m. and at the chapel at 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will be at Snowville Cemetery.
