SALT LAKE CITY – On Friday, February 27, at Primary Children’s Medical Center, our special angel, Lindsey Thomas, 10, departed this earth while being cradled in the arms of her mother and father, following complications of a bone marrow transplant. She was surrounded by her family as she left us to return to her Father in Heaven.
Lindsey was a fourth-grader at Green Acres Elementary School in North Ogden, Utah. She loved school and had many special friends and teachers. Lindsey also loved to dance, jump rope and play tee-ball. Her perfect spirit knew no mortal limitations. Those who knew her adore her, and she taught us all the meaning of perfect love.
She is survived by her parents, Jeffrey Lamonte Thomas and Teresa Hubbard Thomas, also her younger brother, Derek “Bubba” Jake Thomas, of North Ogden, Utah; her grandparents, LaMont and Janice Thomas, and Lloyd and Delpha Lou Hubbard of Malad, Idaho; great-grandparents, Morris and Laurene Thomas Jr., Lou William and Alice Hubbard, also of Malad, Idaho -Alice Davenport Green of Grantsville, Utah; and many uncles, aunts and cousins, who all love her.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmother, Chloe Lorlean Davenport and Millie Jones Lamb, her great-grandfathers, Garth S. Green, S. Claude Williams, and her great-grandmother, Maude Harris Thomas.
We know they were there to welcome her home on Friday.
Friends may call this evening at the North Ogden LDS Ward Chapel, located at 770 E. 2100 N. in North Ogden, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Tuesday evening, friends may call at the Ben-son-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, Idaho, and on Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow at the St. John LDS First Ward Chapel, located at 308 W. 400 N., Malad, Idaho, at noon. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.

MALAD— Lindsey Thomas, 10, daughter of Jeff and Teresa Hubbard Thomas, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 1998, in the Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 12 noon in the St. John LDS Ward chapel, 308 W. 400 N. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North Ogden 10th Ward chapel, located at 770 E. 2100 N. in North Ogden.
On Tuesday evening friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, and on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
