Lettie May Pratt England

Arimo…..Lettie May Pratt England, 78, wife of Larry J England, passed away on February 17, 2011 in Pocatello. She was the youngest of eight children born to Parley Parker and Bertha Belle Wilson Pratt.
She was born March 18, 1932 in Pocatello, Idaho, where she was raised and educated. As a young woman, she worked at the local telephone office. She married Larry J England on July 23, 1954 in Pocatello, and their marriage was later solemnized July 2, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Soon after, they made their home in Pocatello where they resided for several years. They also lived in McCammon, Lava Hot Springs, and finally settled in Arimo and had resided there since 1971. Lettie was employed by the U. S. Postal Service for thirty years as a rural mail carrier. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a very talented lady, was an excellent artist, enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and played the violin. She is survived by her husband of 56 years; Larry of Arimo; children; Annette (Vere) Daniels of Downey; Andrea (Bill) Toler of Downey; Belinda Urrea of Pocatello; Lettie Deanna (Lonnie) Gunter of Arimo; Larry Douglas (Geraldene) England of Arimo; John (Leslie) England of Pocatello; Jeanette (Hugh) McKinney of Idaho Falls. 36 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; Brother;
Mathoni (Osvelia) Pratt of Bountiful, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 12 noon in the Arimo LDS Stake Chapel, Bishop Randal Morris, officiating. Friends may visit with England family on Monday evening Feb. 21, from 6-8 pm at Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home 570 N. Meadowview Dr. in Arimo., and on Tuesday prior to the service at the church from 10:30-11:45 am. Burial will follow in the Arimo Cemetery.
