MALTA, IDAHO – Leonard Parley Hall, 91, died Thursday at the home of a daughter in Malta after a long illness. Born April 8, 1870, East Portage, Utah; came to Idaho in 1901. Retired farmer. Married Charlotte Morris in Senoria, Idaho, January, 1891; solemnized, Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1896. Active LDS Church worker. Wife died three years ago. Survivors: Daughters: Mrs. Ethel Cottle, Malta; Mrs. Esther Johns, Portage; Mrs. Arvilla Goodwin, Ellensburg, Wash; Mrs. Era Mahoney Grants, Grants Pass, Ore; sons, Ira, Wendell; Edward and Leonard, Malta; 43 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Monday, 1 p.m., Malta LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Payne Mortuary, Burley, Sunday afternoon, evening. Monday one hour prior at Malta LDS Ward Chapel. Burial, Malta Cemetery.
