LaVona Euleta Morris Lamb, 92, died July 24, 1997, at the Box Elder County nursing Home in Tremonton, Utah. She was born November 1, 1904, at Portage, Utah, a daughter of David William and Susannah Green Morris. She married DeWaine (Dewey) Hambleton Lamb January 20, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 20, 1981.
She was reared and educated in portage and moved to Plymouth at the time of her marriage. She and her husband owned and operated the Lamb Store in Plymouth for many years.
She was a member of the Belmont 1st Ward in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When a member of the Plymouth Ward she served in the Relief Society Presidency, as a teacher in the YWMIA and Sunday School, and a Relief Society Visiting Teacher.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: David Marvin; John R., Arthur, Glen, Joseph C., Azella E. Gibbs, Mae Vereen John, Leah M. Merrell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26, 1997, 11 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 1st East, Tremonton. Friends may call Saturday only 9:45 – 10:45 at the funeral home.
Interment in the Plymouth Cemetery.
