PACKER, LAURA THELMA, November 8, 1914 – March 17, 2004

BRIGHAM CITY – Laura Thelma Olsen packer, 89, passed away March 17, 2004 in Brigham City, Utah. She was born on November 8, 1914 in Holbrook, Idaho, a daughter of Andrew Anderson and Harriet Ann Wickham Olsen.

Thelma married Joseph Earl packer on February 7, 1934 in Brigham City, UT. The marriage was solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple in 1958.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she had worked in the junior Sunday school.

Thelma loved camping, working in her yard, cooking for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, four grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters.

Surviving are her daughter, Janet Thomas, Brigham City; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Alvera White, Brigham City; and ivy Lauritzen, Thatcher.

Funeral services will be March 22, 2004 at the Brigham City 11th Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
