Laura Kay Parker Graves

GRAVES, LAURA KAY PARKER – December 2, 1965 – March 26, 2006

MTN. GREEN/CONIFER, COLORADO – Laura Kay Parker Graves and her three children: Kaleb, Kelsey and Cameron returned home to their Heavenly Father as a result of an automobile accident near Rawlins, Wyoming on their way home to Colorado on Sunday, March 26, 2006.

Laura was born December 2, 1965 at Clark Air Base in the Philippines, to Monica and Gary Howard Parker. She attended Morgan High School and was on the drill team and was the Valedictorian of her graduating class in 1984.

In 1968, Laura married Curtis Graves for time and all eternity in the Ogden Temple. She then went on to graduate from Weber State University with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.

Laura was an exceptional mother who spent countless hours playing with her children and was a devoted and loving wife. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with the young women in her church.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served in many capacities; the latest as a Stake Camp Coordinator.

She was quick to make friends and always had a beautiful smile to share. Her absence will leave a lasting affect on the countless lives she touched and the people she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Graves of Conifer, Colorado. Her mother and step-father; Monica and Robert Brown, Mt. Green, UT. Her father and step-mother, Gary and Linda Parker, Rosehill, KS and her two brothers, Steve (LeAnn) Parker, Blanding, UT and Russell Parker of Rosehill, KS.

Anyone who met the Graves family knew they had a special bond and would be an eternal family – together forever.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Morgan North Stake Chapel in Enterprise, Morgan County, UT. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, March 31, 2006 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at the Enterprise Church.

Interment, Mountain Green Cemetery.
