BOUNTIFUL – LaRue Ann Rose Thomas, 87, of Bountiful, UT, passed away January 3, 1991 in Bountiful.

She was born February 24, 1903 in Hyrum, UT, a daughter of Joseph Walter and LaVina Allen Rose.

She was reared and educated in Hyrum, UT and Malad, and attended Malad High School. She married William W. Thomas August 26, 1922 in Malad. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She resided in Malad for many years, moving to Bountiful in 1957.

She was a member of the LDS Church where she served in many capacities and was a faithful servant of her Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her husband of Bountiful; two sons, Wayne Worthe Thomas, Sandy, UT and David Ken Thomas, Murray, UT; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Shirley) Wagner, Salt lake City, UT and Gay Ann Branson, North Salt Lake City, UT; 23 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Emogene Harenberg, Mrs. Phyllis Pope, Mrs. Dan C. (Merle) Williams, all of Salt Lake City.

She is preceded in death by a son, DeVon, a daughter, Wanda LaRue, and three sisters.
